Independent financial advice
If you are planning to buy a home, it is advisable (and required) to have your finances independently assessed to make sure you can afford the monthly costs of buying part of a home through the HomeBuy scheme.
We have two Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) who do these assessments.
There is no requirement for purchasers to use either of these IFAs to get a mortgage, although we are aware they have good knowledge of the HomeBuy market.
